What goes in this karahi?
Chicken 1 kg
Ginger paste 1 tsp
Garlic paste 1 tsp
Green chili chopped 2
Cooking oil 1/2 cup
Fresh Tomato 6 Medium
Salt 1 tsp
Coriander powder 2 tbsp
Cumin powder 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Red Chili Powder 2 tbsp
Red Chili flakes 1 tbsp
Whole spices powder 2 tsp
Garlic powder 1 tsp
Ajwain 1 pinch
Yogurt 1 cup
Fried onion 2 tbsp
Fenugreek leaves 2 tbsp
How To Make best chicken karahi
Pick and wash 1 kg chicken.
Here are the spices are required.
Red Chili Powder 2 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Red Chili flakes 1 tbsp
Cumin powder 1 tbsp
Whole spices powder 2 tsp
Coriander powder 2 tbsp
Ajwain 1 pinch
Garlic powder 1 tsp
Fried onion 2 tbsp
Whisk 1 cup of fresh full fat yogurt till smooth. Keep aside.
In the pot or kadai, add ,1/2 cup of oil. Add 2 chopped green chili.Fry for a few seconds on low heat or till the oil becomes aromatic.
Add 1 kg chicken and stir fry on a medium flame until pale.(take about 2 minutes on medium flame).
Further, add 1 teaspoon ginger paste,1 teaspoon of garlic paste and sauté on low heat for a few seconds till the raw aroma of ginger-garlic goes away.
Place the tomato into the two halves and cover the pot with a lid and now cook the tomatoes on low heat.
Tomato are cooked then,Remove the tomato skin,and mashed.
When the tomato are mashed and realased water.
Further,add the following powder spices.
1.Red chili powder 2 tbsp
2.Salt 1 tsp
3.Red Chili flakes 1 tbsp
4.Turmeric powder 1 tsp
5.Whole spices powder 1
6.Ajwani 1 pinch
7.Coriander powder 2 tbsp
8.Cumin powder 1tbsp
Add Then whisked yogurt to the chicken and stir well,cook over medium to low heat for 10 minutes while stirring.
Cook on medium heat for 10 minutes until chicken is tender.
Then,add 2 tablespoons of Fenugreek leaves and cook on low heat until oil is separate.Turn off the heat.
Serve with Naan.

- 1 Tsp Ginger paste

- 1 Tsp Ginger powder
- 1 Tbsp Red chili flakes
- 2 Tbsp Fried onion
- 1 Cup Yogurt
- 2 Tbsp Fenugreek leaves
- 6 Medium Fresh Tomato
Instructions
Making Chicken Karahi
- Pick and wash 1 kg chicken.
