How To prepare Mutton Karahi

Step-by-Step Pictures

Wash 1 kg mutton meat and add 1 tablespoon of ginger, and garlic paste.

And then add 1 tablespoon of vinegar.

Add 1 pinch of food color and mix well.

Take 1 cup of yogurt and whisk well. Now add 1 teaspoon of red chili flakes.

Add 2 tablespoons of fresh coriander powder.

Next, add 1 tablespoon of cumin powder.

1 tablespoon of fresh whole spices powder.

Now, add 1 tablespoon of red chili powder. Mix the spices powder very well with yogurt. The spices yogurt is ready and set aside.

How To Cook Mutton Karahi

In a pot, on medium heat, add 1/2 cup of refined oil.

Next, add marinated meat.

And saute it for 2 minutes continuously stirring them. When the meat is fried.

Then add tomato puree and together 1/2 cup of water.

Cook on low flame until the mutton is tender.

When the mutton is almost tender then add spices-yogurt and mix well.

Cover and cook until all the water is dry up and the oil separates from the top. Turn off the heat.

Garnish with chopped coriander and slit green chili and julienne ginger on top. Serve it with fresh tandoori ki roti and chapati.
