Fresh raw mango juice (Keri sharbat recipe) is a sweet and tart made using just 3 ingredients – raw mango (Keri), white sugar, and black salt.

Raw mangoes are available in any Pakistani grocery store or online during the summer season Get the unripe green raw mangoes. Make sure that the raw mangoes are tart.You can adjust the amount of sugar depending on how sweet you want the mango juice.Add black salt.

Homemade raw mango juice is vegan and gluten-free too.Serve raw mango juice for hot summer days. This recipe can be easily doubled or tripled as per your need.

Ingredients Substitute


Raw Mango

Choose fresh raw mango.

Sugar

Granulated white sugar is added to sweeten the drink. If you want it to dissolve quickly, use powdered white sugar.Sometimes, the raw mango is very sweet and needs no extra sweetener.

Black Salt

Add regular salt and ground black pepper for that extra taste.

Add Three ingredients – raw Mangoes, sugar, and black salt are all you need to make the juice. All the other herbs are optional like , green cardamom add enhance flavour.

Making raw mango squash

Peel and cut the raw mangoes in slices.Add water in a pan, add raw mangoes, cover the pan and let it cook until it gets fully tender.Add sugar, black salt, salt and cook until sugar get dissolve.Let it cool then blend the mixture well and strain.You can store it for up to 1 month in freezer.

Making raw mango drink

In a serving glass add 6 tbsp of raw mango squash,1/2 tsp of black salt and mix it well.Add ice cubes, cold water and mix it well.Served.
