Yogurt Drink’s a traditional north Indian Punjabi lassi. Sweet lassi, also known as methi lassi. It’s a creamy, delicious, yogurt (Dahi) Based refreshing drink that’s a great Ramadan month, perfect for cooling your body on a hot day. Sweet lassi, also known as methi lassi.

You have yogurt, sugar, and milk at home, you can make this simple and delicious lassi.

How to serve Lassi?

Serve this Lassi immediately, then pour the sweet lassi over ice cubes. Otherwise, chill it in the fridge for a couple of hours. Lassi can be enjoyed nice and cold.

Ingredients For Yogurt Drink

You need only 3 ingredients to make lassi.

Yogurt:

I use regular whole milk yogurt when making lassi.

Milk:

You can always add milk to this recipe. I prefer a pourable consistency that’s smooth and easy to drink, however, if you want a thicker lassi, you can always use less milk.

Sugar:

I prefer regular sugar.

Cardamom:

This is optional but adds a nice aroma and flavor to sweet lassi.

How to make lassi

Take a large mixing bowl, add 1 cup of fresh yogurt and mix well using a whisk until there are no lumpy leftovers.

Add in the 4 tablespoons of regular white sugar and stir using a whisk until sugar is melted in the yogurt.

When the sugar is completely dissolved.

Now, add 2 glasses of chili milk.

Take a whisker and whisk until creamy.

Pour the lassi into the glasses and enjoy!

  • 4 Tbsp White Sugar
