How to make Onion Fritters

In a bowl, add sliced onion, chop the coriander, chop green chili mix well. Add 1 cup gram flour and following powder spices.1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder,2 teaspoon Coriander powder,1 teaspoon cumin powder,1 tablespoon Red chili powder,1/2 teaspoon Salt,1 teaspoon chaat masala. Mix everything well. Add 1/2 + 1/8 cup water slowly and mix well until a thick batter. Heat mustard oil in the pot until the smell is gone. Once the oil is hot drop the pakora batter in the hot oil and fry them on a medium flame for 2 minutes. When they turn golden and crispy, then drain the oil and remove the pakora.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup  Gram flour Besan
  • 2 Medium Onion Cut into thiny sliced
  • 4 Green chili Finely Chopped
  • Coriander leaves  Chopped
  • 1/2 Tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 Tsp Coriander powder
  • 2 Tbsp Red chili powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tsp Cumin powder
  • 1 Tsp Chaat Masala
  • Water as required
  • Mustard Oil for Frying

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl,add slices onion,chop coriander,chop green chili mix well.
  • Add 1 cup gram flour and following powder spices.1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder,2 teaspoon Coriander powder,1 teaspoon cumin powder,1 tablespoon Red chili powder,1/2 teaspoon Salt,1 teaspoon chaat masala.
  • Mix everything well.
  • Add 1/2 + 1/8 cup water slowly and mix well until a thick batter.
  • Heat mustard oil in the pot until smell gone.
  • Once the oil is hot drop the pakora batter in the hot oil and fry them on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
  • When they turn golden and crispy, take them using a strainer and remove the pakora from the hot oil.
