Chicken white karahi, also called safed chicken, is the Indian version of the ever popular white karahi. It’s made with a few common ingredients and comes together very easily. Plus it’s packed with flavor. No muss, no fuss method ! cooking pot instructions included.

Needs Ingredients

Chicken 1 Kg

Ginger Garlic paste 1 tbsp

Yogurt 1/3 Cup

White pepper powder 1 tsp

Black pepper powder 1 tsp

Coriander powder 1 tbsp

Cumin powder 1 tsp

Salt 1 tsp

Whole spices powder 1 tsp

Onion paste 1/3 Cup

Green chili paste 1 tbsp

Lemon juice 1 tsp

Oil 1/2 cup

How To Make chicken white Karahi?

Marinade the chicken

1.Take a bowl, add 1/3 cup of yogurt,1 teaspoon of salt,1 tablespoon of coriander powder,1 teaspoon of cumin powder,1 teaspoon of white pepper powder,1 teaspoon of black pepper powder1 teaspoon of whole spices powder,1 teaspoon of lemon juice,1 tablespoon of green chili paste , and whisk. Add the chicken and make sure to coat it well with the marinade.Let it rest for 30 minutes.

Cook Chicken

1.Heat 1/2 cup of oil in a wok and add 1/3 cup of onion paste Fry for 2 minutes on high heat until the pinkish hue vanishes.

2.Then add ginger,garlic paste and then,Add the marinated chicken to the pot and cook on high heat for about 2 minutes.

3.Lower the heat, cover the pan and cook for 25 minutes or until most of the water has evaporated, and relased the oil on the surface of the salan.

4.Garnish with slit green chili.

5.Serve with Tandoori roti, chapati,naan,boil rice.
