Hello, people! Green Chicken Curry is an Indian-inspired meal, also known as Hariyali Chicken. It is a curry dish that is serve in many Indian and Pakistani restaurants. Now you can make it at home. It can be served with plain roti,Boil Rice.

Some Ingredients

Other Ingredients like coriander powder, cumin powder, salt, yogurt, and oil.

How to make green curry chicken

Green Paste

Grind all the ingredients like green chilies, ginger-garlic, coriander, and mint leaves, together in a grinder until a smooth paste. Add a little amount of water.

Fry Onion

In a heavy bottom pan, add the oil 1/2 cup of oil. When the oil is heated then add sliced onion and fry until softened. Remove the onion from the pot and cool down.

When the onion cools dowl completely and transfer to the grinder jar and make a smooth puree.

Cook Chicken Curry

In the leftover oil and add chicken pieces. Cook the chicken until the chicken turns brown.

When the chicken is brown in color now add the onion paste and saute until the raw smell disappears.

Now, add and prepare a green paste. Stir fry for a few seconds.

Next, add the following ground spices powder.

  • 1 tablespoon of coriander powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon of cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon of salt according to your taste

Lastly, add 1 cup whisked, yogurt and mix everything well.

Continue stirring for 2 mins. The yogurt will slowly start releasing water. Now cover and cook the chicken for 15-20 minutes on medium heat.

Till the chicken is almost done, add lime juice and cook until the liquid has evaporated and is thick and oil is released from the pot.

Serve With Roti.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 Kg Chicken
  • 1 Cup Yogurt whisked
  • 12-15 Green Chili
  • 1/2 Inche Ginger pieces
  • 8-10 Garlic Cloves
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
  • Coriander Leaves Half bunch
  • Mint Leaves Half a bunch
  • 2 Medium-sized Onions
  • 1 Tsp Salt according to your taste
  • 1 Tbsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 Tbsp Cumin powder
  • 1/2 Cup Water
  • 1/2 Cup Oil
