Mint peanut chutney  is a delicious Hyderabadi style chutney made using peanut as its main ingredient.

Chutney is so easy to make and comes together quickly using a few simple pantry ingredients.

Peanut is called phalli in India hence the name Peanut chutney. And in Hindi, Mint is called podine. So people in India call it podine phalli chutney.

Needed Ingredients For Making peanut Chutney

Making Mint Peanut Chutney (Mint Groundnut chutney)

Roast 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds, 4 green chilies, and 1 garlic clove for 1 minute on low flame.

Mint Peanut Chutney (Mint Groundnut Chutney)

Take another pan, and roast 1/2 cup of peanuts on low flame until the peanut is roasted well.

Add them to a jar. Along with soaked tarmind pulp, 1/2 cup of mint leaves, and 1 teaspoon of salt according to your taste, and blend until a thick and smooth paste.

Tempering is optional

Heat oil to a fry pan, add 1/4 tsp of cumin seeds,1/4 tsp of mustard seeds, and curry leaves. Fry for a minute until the ingredients become crisp. Turn off the stove.

Pour the tempering over the chutney.
