Gobi Gosht (cauliflower mutton) curry is a delicious meat curry that is made with bone-in mutton, cauliflower ,onions, tomatoes and a few spices.

Try this Gobi Gosht (cauliflower mutton) where mutton and gobi are cooked in a spicy curry. Pair it with roti or Boil Rice .Here is how to make it.

Gobi Ghost (cauliflower mutton Curry)

Gobi means “Cauliflower” and Gosht means “mutton/lamb”, which means mutton and cauliflower both are cooked together in a rich and deeply flavored curry to prepare Gobi Gosht. It is super easy to make, needs simple ingredients, and comes together in under half an hour.

It is usually served as a side with,Mint Peanut Chutney (Mint Groundnut Chutney),Khatti Dal | Hyderabadi khatti dal.

Store Gobi Gohst

Gobi Gosht will last for 2 days in the refrigerator when stored in an air-tight container in the fridge. Reheat in a pan or microwave.

How To Make Gobi gosht?

Chop 1 medium size cauliflower (gobi) cut into medium florets. Rinse well and keep aside.

slice the 1 medium size onions.

Chopped Coriander leaves and slit green chili.

Wash 250-gram mutton meat.

Heat a non-stick pot, add 1/4 cup oil and sliced onions, and stir for 30 seconds.


Now add homemade ginger garlic paste and stir for seconds until the smell dust away.


Add meat, and stir on medium heat for 3 minutes (This is because we want to finish the smell from meat and change the color).

Add the following spices.

Red chili powder 1 tsp, coriander powder 1 tbsp, turmeric powder 1 tsp, red chili flakes 1 tsp, salt 1 tsp again stir for 30 seconds.

Next, add 2 tablespoons of Tomato Paste (Homemade Tomato Paste)

Stir again.

Now add 2 cups water. Let it boil, and with lid on cook it until meat is 90% done or cook it for 1 hour 15 minutes.


After the meat is tender, stir it on high heat so all extra juices from it evaporate and you see oil with the sides of the pot.

Then, add cut cauliflower.

Now add 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil and Stir on medium heat for 10 minutes, then turn the heat slowly and with a lid cook it until cauliflower is tender.

When cauliflower is tender add Julian cut ginger, green chilies, and chopped Coriander, stir, and turn off the heat.

  • 1 Cauliflower
  • 250 Gram Mutton meat
  • 2 Tbsp Homemade Tomato

  • 1/4 Cup Oil
  • 1 Small Onion
  • 1 Tbsp Homemade ginger
  • 1 Tsp Red chili
  • 1 Tsp Red Flakes
  • 1 Tbsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 Tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1 Tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 2 Cups Water

Instructions
