This Bread Kheer Recipe or bread pudding is a special from my mother’s recipe. Kheer is a traditional sweet delicacy made by grinding bread along with milk & sugar Kheer Recipe is simple & quick.
Bread Kheer is a classic creamy flavored bread prepared with just 5 ingredients in approximately 30 minutes
You can easily double or triple the recipe if making it for a crowd.
Bread Kheer is a treat after a meal! Bread Kheer recipe is also called bread pudding.

This Bread kheer is
✓ made with whole milk, which makes it very creamy.
✓rich with all nuts and dried fruits like pistachios, and almonds.
✓ flavored with rose water and cardamom.
✓ can be served warm or cold. I personally love it chilled.
Types of Kheer
There are different types of Kheer.I am making some Kheer recipes here.

Ingredients Substitute
Milk – To make this Kheer, use Full Fat or Full Cream milk, as it results in creamy Kheer.
Pistachios – This kheer is flavored with crushed Pistachios. It adds a nice crunch to the creamy texture of the Kheer
You can also add in other chopped dry fruits such as Almonds, Cashews, etc.
Rose Water: Kheer recipe, as it adds a beautiful flavor and aroma, giving this Kheer rich and royal touch.
Sugar – You can adjust the amount of sugar according to your taste and preference. If you like it to be more sweet, increase the amount of sugar.
Cardamom powder: I have used 1 teaspoon of cardamom powder.
How To Make Bread Kheer?
Take 1 liter of full-fat milk in a heavy wide pan or saucepan or kadai. Keep the pan on low to medium-low heat. Stir at intervals so that the milk does not burn at the bottom of the pan.
Let the milk come to a boil.

Take 1/2 cup of milk from the pan in a small bowl. Let the milk become cold. Then, add 4 bread sliced (remove the edges),1/2 cup of sugar, and 2 cardamom seeds to the milk.
And transfer to the blender jar.

And blend until a smooth paste.

After the milk begins to boil, then add the prepared paste. Now add 1 tsp of rose Water Mix and continue to cook on low heat till the Kheer thickens and is cooked completely.
Switch off the flame when the kheer is completely cooked. The kheer will also thicken. On cooling bread, kheer thickens more. Scrape milk solids from the sides and add to Kheer.

Pour the Kheer into serving bowls. Garnish with chopped pistachio. You can serve the Kheer, warm or chilled as your preference.

Ingredients
- 1 Litre Milk

- 1/2 Cup Sugar According to your taste
- 1 Tsp Rose Water
- 2 Cardamom Seeds
- Pistachio
