For the Tempering
Heat a 6 tablespoons oil in a small-sized frypan and then add 1 small-sized onion cut into sliced.
Fry until golden.Add 1 teaspoon of red chili powder.
Now pour this tempering over the cooked Dal.
It is now ready to be served with roti.
