How to make Khadi Masoor Dal Recipe
Step-By-Step Photos
Add 1 cup of Masoor dal to a bowl and wash it a couple of times until the water runs clean. At the point when the water runs clean add,4 cups of water and soak for 20 minutes before cooking.
Heat 1/3 cup oil. Add chopped onions, and fry till they are soft.
When the onion turns delicate, add chopped ginger, and garlic. Mix and fry for 30 seconds till the crude smell disappears.
Add 1 cup of masoor dal and stir for 1 minute with a spoon.
Next, add the following ground Spices-1 tablespoon of coriander powder,1 teaspoon of cumin powder,1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder,1 teaspoon of red chili powder,1/2 teaspoon of red chili flakes, and along with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and mix well.
When the daal starts to sticking to the bottom of the pot. Add 2/3 cup of typical water, mix, and cover, and cook for 10 minutes on low fire. Keep a check in the middle.
Check the Masoor daal to check whether it is done. If the daal is tender and fluffy, remove to the stove and garnish, with chopped chili green and coriander leaves.
Take a serving bowl, and add cooked masoor dal. Serve with Chapati and side with Aloo Raita (Potatoe Raita with tempering),Kachumber Salad (Indian Salad)
