Spicy French Fries (Potato Fries)

Spicy French fries are my new Iftar Time favorite recipe. The potatoes are coated in a spicy flour combination to present them with an extra crunch on the outside, leaving the inside soft and airy. These crispy French fries have such a forceful crunch as you bite into them. These are well served either hot or cold.

This is one of my favorite recipes for French fries. These fries are so easy to make. In this week’s recipe, I’m going to be making French fries, and I’m going to tell you some interesting facts about this delicious dish. Crunchy French fries are one of the most popular in Snacks America. This is a delicious, and easy-to-make potatoes dish that is perfect for a quick snack.

how to make spicy french fries

Peel the 2 large potatoes.

Cut into the sliced.

Cut them into thickish chip shapes. Don’t cut them too thin, about 1cm thickness.

Rinse the potatoes in water to get rid of any excess starch.

And then strain the potatoes using a strainer.

Transfer the potatoes into the mixing bowl, add 2 tablespoons of gram flour(Besan).

Add 3 tablespoons cornflour.

Add 1 tablespoon red chili flakes.

1 tablespoon red chili powder.

Now add,1 tablespoon salt

1/2 teaspoon yellow food color.

And mix together.

Place a large frying pan, add oil, and heat until it has warmed. To test for the correct temperature, drop in 1 piece of potato. Potatoes slices are sizzles. Fry until they are brown and golden, then remove from the oil, using the slotted spoon, and let them drain on a kitchen paper towel.

Remove and drain on kitchen paper towel.

Serve with tomato ketchup, mayonnaise, and sprinkle some chaat masala.
