Here we bring you one of the most popular street foods from Pakistan, Chaat is a delicious melange of spices and shallow-fried. While there are quite a few ways of making Kala Chana Chaat, this particular chaat recipe is a mouth-watering gem from the streets of Pakistan. here for the recipe.
The simplest and the healthiest one! To prepare this chaat, all you need to do is cut some vegetables like onion, tomatoes coriander chili, add a whole lot of masala, and lemon juice to give the tangy and zesty flavor. Yes, that’s it! Preparation
Rinse and soak chickpeas in enough water for 8-10 hours or overnight. Drain out the excess water and rinse them again with fresh running water in the morning and set aside. Add rinsed chickpeas to a pressure cooker along with salt, water, Pressure cook chickpeas for 4-5 whistles on low heat. Let the pressure come off completely before opening the lid.
Rinse the potatoes in water then boil 4 medium-sized potatoes in a pot with water.
Peel and chop the potatoes into cubes. Chop 2 medium-sized tomatoes and 1 medium-sized onion and chop a few coriander leaves and finely chop 2 green chilies.

Heat 1/4 cup oil in a pot. Now add chop onion and sauté it for 2-3 minutes on medium heat. Once the onion is slightly translucent.Now add boiled chickpeas(chole) and fry for 2 minutes on medium heat.

Add boiled potato and fry for 1 minutes.

- 2 Cups Black Chickpeas Good quality
- 4 Medium-sized Potatoes Cut into cubes
- 2 Medium-sized Tomatoes Chopped

- 2 Green chili chopped is optional
- Coriander leaves as needed
- 5 Tbsp Lemon Juice
- 2 Tbsp Coriander Powder
- 1/2 Tbsp Cumin Powder
- 2 Tbsp Red chili powder
- 2 Tbsp Red chili flakes
- 1/2 Tsp Chaat Masala
- 1/2 Tbsp Salt
- 1/4 Cup Oil
