  • Dates (Khajoor) 40 pieces
  • Ghee 1/4 Cup solid

How to make Dates Halwa

Remove the seeds of the dates and wash. And then drain all the water completely.

Heat 1/4 cup of solid ghee in a pan. Keep the flame to a low. When the ghee is warmed and dissolved then add cardamom seeds. When the cardamom seeds start the fragrance.

Then add Dates keep on stirring for 2 minutes until you can see the ghee is absorbed by the dates.

Now reduce the flame to low leisurely add milk.

Stir continuously using the spatula and keep stirring for around 2 minutes until the dates get soft and melt.

Keep stirring and cook on low flame for 2 minutes till the halwa thicken will start and leaves the sides of the pan.

Serve the khajoor halwa into the serving plate and garnish with chop pistachio.
