Khajoor ki Barfi or (Date Barfi )is made in a simple way. The ingredients used to make it are this ghee which is added in every halwa, dates are the main ingredients in this barfi. I have not added sugar to the Khajoor ki barfi the dates are naturally sweet. The dates which are used in barfi are soft and black. Corn flour makes the barfi thick and the barfi is ready in 20 minutes.khajoor barfi is eaten in the winter season and it prevents cold.

Never use dried dates to become barfi this does not make them taste of barfi taste good.

Khajoor is a fruit, there are so many benefits. The added fiber to dates is the most advantage for our stomachs.

What is Khajoor Barfi?

Khajoor paste is cooked in ghee till this mixture is thick. This Indian hour is very much liked in Pakistan. The name is a derivation of the Urdu word Barf, which means snow.

Step-by-Step Instruction

Preparation

1. First almond, pistachio, cut, and set aside.

2. Take an empty bowl add 4 tbsp cornflour and 1/8 cup of water and mix well and there have no lump left.

3. Take out the dates seeds.

4. Then add the dates to the blend jar and add 1/2 cup water and blend well. Blend till the date paste is smooth.

5. Then take out the paste in a bowl and set it aside.

Making Barfi

6. Then add khajoor(dates) paste in a non-stick wok. And the dates water should be dried up, where we had added at the time of making the dates paste.

7. After about 1 minute,add1/2 cup ghee, ghee is in liquid (and not in solid why ghee if it was in solid, then mixing does not mean good mix).

8. And fry the dates well in ghee until the dates absorb the ghee and approximately 5 minutes (depending on the stove flame).

Frying the Nuts

9. Then in another frying pan add 3 tbsp ghee and chopped almond, pistachios, and fry till light golden. After frying, add it to the dates mixture, mix well.

Mix Together

10. Then add prepare cornflour mixture gradually add and in the meantime, keep running the spoon there has no lump.

11. Then add more 2 tbsp ghee to it. And till the time you fry, the barfi will not get thick.

12. Then when the barfi becomes thick add this barfi to a tin, then equalize this barfi.

Assembly the Barfi

13. And keep it in a dry place for 2 hours till the barfi freezes well.

14. And after 2 hours check the barfi has frozen well.

Shape the Barfi

15. Cut into desired sizes and serve(if you want, coat it in dry shredded coconut). (This is optional).
