Today I am sharing my mother’s recipe to make it.
Suji halwa or Rava halwa recipe is loaded with nuts can be enjoyed after a meal.it can be paired with paratha sometime puri.
The main point to making the best suji ka halwa is to roast the suji well in ghee until release aroma.

Making Sugar Syrup
Firstly heat pours 1 cup water and 1/2 cup sugar in a pot and brings to a boil till it completely dissolved.

Making Suji ka Halwa
Take a non-stick pot, heat 6 tablespoons ghee, once the ghee melt.

Add nuts and cardamom seeds with the ghee using a spatula and fry the nuts on low flame, it will start to change color. After around 1 minute.

Next, add semolina and keep stirring the suji so that it is evenly roast and stir well for 10 minutes on low flame till the aroma released starts to come from it.

When the suji gets roast well, its ghee will also start leaving the sides of the pot.

Now add to prepare sugar syrup to the roasted suji. The halwa will start to bubble.

Cook on low flame until the sugar syrup is absorbed by the halwa keep stirring for 2 minutes.

Once it absorbs, the liquid. You will see the halwa ghee start to separates from the edges of the pot.

Chef Tip Best Making Halwa
- Always roast the suji on low flame. If you roast on high flame, it will get brown quick.
- Don’t overcook sugar syrup, just only dissolved.
