What Is Fried Fish?


They are deep-fried, crispy fish in the obtainable everywhere country. Strips of fish are coated in a batter made of gram flour and some authentic South Asian spices and then deep-fried in hot oil till crispy.

How To Serve With Fried Fish?


The fried fish can be served alongside any types of chutney-raita . But I recommend pairing it with amazing tamarind-chutney-imli-ki-chutney.Sprinkle chaat masala.

It’s a quick and easy weekday recipe made with basic kitchen ingredients!Here, I share with you my Fried Fish (Crispy Fish & Lahori Fried Fish) recipe that I have perfected over the years.

Ingredients


Marination Ingredients

Fish Surmai (king Fish) 1 kg

Lemon Juice 1 tbsp

Ginger paste 1 tbsp

Garlic paste 1 tbsp

Salt 1 Tsp

Red chili powder 1 tbsp

Coriander powder 2 tbsp

Cumin powder 1 tbsp

Mustard powder 1 tbsp

Chaat masala 1 tsp

Gram flour 2 tbsp

Coating Ingredients

All-purpose flour 8 tbsp

Corn flour 4 tbsp

Black pepper powder 1/4 tsp

how to make fried fish?


MARINATE THE Fish

Take the fish in a deep glass bowl and mix in the ginger-garlic paste,red chili powder,coriander powder,cumin powder,mustard powder,salt,chaat masala,lemon juice,gram flour. Cover with clingwrap and leave to marinate in a fridge.

After 1 hour of marination, now fish is ready for Start coating,dip the marinated fish pieces in a water.

Coat the fish in the corn flour mix on both the sides.

Now deep-fry the fish in hot oil.Fry the fish until both sides are crunchy.When the both sides are crunchy take it out paper.
