These quick easy chicken paratha rolls (Chicken Boti roll) will become a brother favorite recipe. Chicken Paratha Roll (Chicken Boti Roll) is a street Food staple in Pakistan.

Chicken Paratha Roll (Chicken Boti Roll) recipe, the stuffing is a lip-smacking chicken made on stove top, a vibrant green chutney and a crunchy onion. This puri is made with whole wheat dough.

You can serve the Chicken roll as an evening snack, lunch, or brunch. There is some prep work required for making the green chutney and the onion topping, then the recipe is relatively quick and easy.

Tip For Best Chicken Paratha Roll

*It is best to marinate the chicken for 2 hours or more. You can also keep the marinated chicken overnight in the fridge.

*Alway uses lukewarm water for knead dough.

Ingredients For Chicken Paratha

Chicken 250 gram Cut into cubes

All-purpose flour 2 cups

Milk powder 2 tbsp

Salt 1/2 tsp

Lukewarm water as needed

Yogurt 1/2 cup

Red Chili Powder 1 tbsp

Chili flakes 1 tsp

Salt 1 tsp

Coriander powder 1 tbsp

Cumin powder 1 tsp

Lemon juice 1 tbsp

Soy sauce 1 tbsp

Black pepper powder 1 tsp

Ginger Garlic Paste (adrak lasan paste) 1 tbsp

Food color 1 pinch

How To Make Chicken Boti Paratha

Making Puri Dough

Add 2 cups of all-purpose flour,2 tablespoons of milk powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt to a mixing bowl.

Slowly add Lukewarm water. Begin to knead. Add lukewarm water as required and knead to a soft dough. Cover the dough and keep aside for it to rest for 30 minutes.

Divide the dough into medium sized balls, depending on the size of the puri you want to make.

Next, use the palm of your hand to lightly flatten the dough ball.

Use a rolling pin to roll the dough evenly into circles that aren’t too thick or too thin.

Turn the flame for the cooking pot to medium.Allow it to heat up and the carefully drop the Puri in the hot oil.Gently press down a spatula as the Puri starts to puff up.

When the puri has puffed up completely flip and cook the other side for 30 seconds until golden .

Remove and place on a plate lined with kitchen paper towel.

Marinate Chicken

Wash the chicken and cut into cubes sized.Add 1/2 cup of yogurt in a bowl. With a whisk beat the yogurt lightly till smooth.

Red chili powder 1 tbsp

Chili flakes 1 tsp

Salt 1 tsp

Coriander 1 tbsp

Green chili paste 1 tsp

Cumin powder 1 tsp

Lemon juice 1 tbsp

Black pepper powder 1 tsp

Garlic paste 1 tsp

Soy sauce 1 tsp

Ginger paste 1 tsp

Food color 1 pinch

Mix very well. Check the salt and add more salt if required.

Cook Chicken

Heat 4 tablespoons of oil, when the oil is heated up, then add marinated chicken and fry for 2 minutes until color changes.

Add 1/4 cup of water and cover and cook until chicken is tender and oil realased for the sides.

Toppings

Place a Puri, add cooked chicken and Sliced onions, and they are perfect for this recipe. If you prefer a roll with more sauce, you can add some Mint Cilantro Chutney (Dhaniya Pudina Chutney),Tamarind Chutney (Imli Ki Chutney)
