Chicken Changezi (Restaurant-style-chicken changezi)
I’m so so excited to post this Chicken Changezi .This curry has unique flavors . This chicken changezi recipe makes such a satisfying curry with Matar Chawal Recipe.
Restaurant Style Chicken changezi recipe (also called Mughlai chicken changezi/changizi, murgh changezi) is a rich, creamy, and Mughlai-style chicken curry.

This chicken changezi recipe will give you a simple, super tasty, mildly spicy curry, where marinated chicken are cooked in an Changezi sauce. All the ingredients used in this are easily available in any online store.
Ingredients
Chicken 500 grams
Ginger Garlic paste 1 tbsp
Onion 2 medium chopped
Tomato 4 medium chopped
Bay leaf 2
Red chili powder 1 tbsp
Coriander powder 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Tatri 1/2 tsp
Cloves 2
Black pepper corn 6
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Javitri 1
Black cardamom 1
Dried fenugreek 1 tsp
Jaifil 1/4 piece
Water 1 cup
Cooking oil 1/4 cup
Coriander for garnish
How To Make Chicken Changezi Recipe?
Marinate The Chicken
Rinse (500 g) chicken (cut into 1 and ½-inch pieces) with water and transfer the pieces to a large mixing bowl.Add1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste,1 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon red chili powder 1 tablespoon coriander powder 1 teaspoon cumin powder, 1/2 teaspoon tatri powder to the bowl and mix well using your spoon. Cover the bowl with wrap and set it aside.
Changezi Sauce
In a non- stick cooking pot,add chopped tomato, chopped onion,2 bay leaf,whole spices like, cloves 2, black pepper corn 6, black cardamom 1,jaifil 1/4 piece, javitri 1,and then add 1 cup water mix well bring it to a boil cover and cook for 10 minutes on low flame until tender.
Turn off the heat.Let is cool down.Transfer them to a blender and blend to make a paste. Set aside.
Cooked Chicken
Heat 1/4 cup of oil in a large wide pan over medium-high heat.Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook for 10 minutes until the chicken is lightly browned. Flip a few times while cooking.Remove the chicken pieces to a plate and keep aside.
Leftover oil,then add Changezi sauce mix well cook on medium flame until oil separates.
Now,add cooked chicken.
Add 1/2 cup water mix well,cover and cook on low flame 8-10 minutes until chicken is tender and gravy thick.
When the chicken is tender,then ,add 1 tsp dried fenugreek leaves mix well cook on low flame until oil separates.
Add chopped coriander leaves for garnish and serve.
