My easy Cardamom Tea (Elaichi chai & chai recipe) is silky and delicious! Made quickly and easily on make stovetop, they can be made in just 20 minutes. The recipe includes photos and instructions.

Cardamom Tea known as Elaichi chai is the most popular hot beverage in India and Pakistani loved by everyone. There are many different kinds of tea like,Milk Tea, Doodh Patti, Masala chai, and Ginger tea.

This aromatic Elaichi chai cup makes our mornings, evenings, and everything in between a little bit brighter.

Cardamom Tea is made with basic ingredients like water, sugar, cardamom seeds, and tea powder.

Feeling sleepy at work? Have some chai. Want to pull an all-nighter? Want to meet up with someone? Let’s talk over chai. Want to fight the winter chill? You just need a cup of chai to feel warm. A friend, a healer, and a companion – chai is synonymous with so many emotions.

This Elaichi Chai can be prepared quickly over the stovetop. You can make this with a few simple steps and ingredients. Follow my recipe to make a perfectly creamy chai recipe in 15 minutes. Cardamom Tea is served with a favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies,Moist Chocolate Cupcakes.

How To Make Cardamom Tea

First, take three cups of fritter water and bring it to a boil.

Also, add sugar at this stage. I use 3 tablespoons of sugar. (you can use little or much sugar as you prefer.)

Now, as it boils add crushed elaichi and let the flavors mix well. Keep it on low to medium flame so that it boils well.

Add 1 tablespoon of tea powder. I use Tapal Danedar. You can use any brand.

Bring this to a boil and simmer for a minute.

When the color of the tea has darkened then add,1/2 cup of milk. (adjust the quality of milk as needed).

Once it comes to a boil, low the flame and allow it to simmer for 5 minutes and until the chai has strong.

Once done, Switch off the flame.

Strain the chai into a cup and enjoy!

  • 3 Tbsp White Sugar
  • 5 Pods Green cardamoms
  • 1 Tbsp Tea Powder I use Tapal Danedar. You can use any brand.
