Black Forest Cake, German origin recipe. The Easy Black Forest cake recipe consists of several layers of chocolate sponge cake sandwiched with whipped cream and chocolate shaving.

How To Make Black Forest Cake?
Making sponge cake
1. Sift dry Ingredients: Take a large bowl, place sifter add all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder sift together and mix well.
2. Beat: Take a bowl separate egg whites and egg yolks, set aside. In an electric hand mixer, add egg whites and beat until light and fluffy. Gradually add egg yolks, then add sugar, vanilla essence, oil and beat well. Scrape down the sides of the bowl, is well combined.
3. Fold: Gradually add the sifted dry ingredients and gently fold and well combine.
4. Bake: Transfer to the preparing mold, bake in preheated oven at 180 c for around 25 to 30 minutes. Remove the cake from the oven until a toothpick inserted in the middle come out clean. Transfer the cake to the cooling rack, let it cool down. Cautiously strip off the base paper and leave it on the sponge to get totally chill off.
Now assemble the cake, slice with a sharp serrated knife, split each cake in half horizontally into 2 equal layers.
Make sugar syrup
While the cake sponge is cooling to prepare sugar syrup.
1. Make Syrup: Place a pot over medium flame. Add the 1/2 water and 4 tablespoons sugar, bring to a gentle boil to dissolve the sugar.
Whipped cream
Add whipped cream to a bowl and whip on medium-high speed with a mixer until thickened and stiff peaks form.
Assembling and decoration:
Spot one cake layer on a serving plate and brush with 4 tbsp of the sugar syrup that is absorbed and afterward places chocolate chip and afterward spread whipped cream. Spot a second layer on the top of this cake. Give a gentle press. And afterward spread, cover the sides and top with whipped cream. Decorate sides of the cakes with grate shaving chocolate, and pipping bag to make a blossom around the edges of the cake. Cover the top with chocolate shavings.
Rest Cake
Rest the cake in the fridge for 2 hours.

- Transfer to the baking mould Bake in preheated oven at 180 c for about 25 to 30 minutes.
- Remove the cake from the oven until a toothpick inserted in the center come out clean. Transfer the cake to the cooling rack, let it cool down. Carefully peel off the base paper and leave the sponge to get completely cool down.
- Now assemble the cake, slice with a sharp serrated knife, split each cake in half horizontally into 2 equal layers.
How to make a sugar syrup:
- Take a pan, add the sugar and water and bring to a boil until the sugar dissolve.let it cool.
How to make whipped cream
- Add whipped cream to a bowl and whip on medium high speed with a mixer until thickened and stiff peaks form.
Assembling and decoration:
- Place one cake layer on a serving plate and spread with sugar syrup and then place chocolate chip and then spread whipped cream. Place the second layer on the top of this cake. Give a gentle press. And then spread, cover the sides and top with whipped cream.
- Place the remaining cream in a piping bag, make a flower around the edges of the cake.
- Cover the sides and top with chocolate shavings.
