Chocolate pastry Recipe is straightforward, an easy-to-follow instruction even by a beginner. This recipe makes a square baking pan. I made 1 cake sponge, and frosting with a very easy, just whipped cream. This pastry is soft, moist, very tender, and softens in your mouth without any problem. It is easy to prepare and takes about 20 minutes. You can bake this in an oven! This chocolate pastry has a super chocolate flavor. Ingredients For Sponge

  • All-purpose Flour
  • Cocoa Powder
  • Powder Sugar
  • Vanilla essence
  • Baking Powder
  • Eggs

  • Whipped Cream Chilled
  • Chocolate Syrup

  • Milk for soaking

Step-by-Step Instruction

Making Sponge

First grease a Square baking pan with oil, put parchment paper bottom of the pan. Preheat your oven to 180 c for 10 minutes.

In a bowl, add eggs and powder sugar together using an electric hand beater until creamy and soft peaks form. And then add, cocoa powder and vanilla essence into the egg batter, then beat for 1 minute on high speed.

Gradually add baking powder and all-purpose flour, and then fold in the egg batter cautiously with the assistance of a spatula. Pour batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 13-15 minutes until a center toothpick inserted center comes out clean. Take out the cake from the oven let cool completely, peel off the parchment paper from the bottom. Use a serrated knife to cut the cake spongy into two even layers.

Make Whipped Cream

Take a bowl add chill whipped cream and beat for 5 minutes on high speed until soft peaks form and then add chocolate syrup and beat again until soft peaks form about 3 minutes. Place one layer of the cake on the bottom side apply to milk and spread whipped cream evenly on the cake. And spread chocolate chip and place the top cake sponge, press down gently. Apply the top layer with the milk. Now spread the whipped cream over the top layer and around the sides of the cake evenly. Keep the cake in the refrigerator for 1-2hours so that the frosting sets.
