How To Make Beef Nihari Step-by-Step Image

Heat 1/2 cup of oil.And add onion sliced and fry onion sliced until golden.

Add 1 kg of beef bones and fry until golden.then add 1 tablespoon of ginger paste,1 tablespoon of garlic paste and fry again.

Add 2 bay leaf.

Now add Following Spices powder.

  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • 2 tablespoons of Red chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon of cumin powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of Mace powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg powder
  • 2 tablespoons of Coriander powder.
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cloves powder
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of green cardamom powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black cardamom powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon powder

Now add 1/3 cup of whisk yogurt and mix well and cook for a few minutes.

Add water as needed.I have 4 cups of water and bring it to a boil Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 1 hours or until beef is tender and shreds easily.

Take a bowl add 4 tablespoons of wheat flour and pour 1/4 cup of water until smooth Paste.

Slowly Add prepared wheat mixture and keep stirring.

Once the Nihari start boiling the reduce the flame and simmer slowly for 20 minutes until the Nihari is thick and oil rises on the top.
