Fried Rice is one of the first-class flavorful, aromatic, healthy, and delicious Rice dishes. Chicken fried rice is loaded with chicken and veggies can be enjoyed by lunch. You can make this rice on a stovetop. I have cooked the rice in a pot with step-by-step recipe photos, the recipe is basic in my style.

Since this is fried rice, it’s best to make it for the weekend. Served with a chicken Manchuria.

There are different kinds of make rice.

This rice also has sauce, which gives it a great tang.

What Is Fried Rice?

It is a popular Indonesian rice dish made with chicken, veggies, sauces, and spices. It is commonly paired with chicken Manchuria.

Whenever I make the Manchurian recipe at home, I almost always prepare this recipe as well.

How to make Fried Rice

Step-By-Step Photos

Wash 1 cup of Falak Extreme Basmati Rice 2 times with water till the water is clean to starch. Soak them for 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, heat water as required in a pot, when the water is hot, add 2 tablespoons of oil, and 1 tablespoon of salt.

After 20 minutes. Drain the water completely.

Add in drained rice in boiling water and cook until the rice is 80% done.

Immediately strain the rice and put the rice on the colander when the water comes out well.

Heat 1/8 cup cooking oil in a pot on a low flame.

When the oil turns hot, add chopped garlic cloves, fry for a few minutes till it turns aromatic.

And then, add beaten egg, mix well.

Cook until scramble.

Slide the egg to a side in the pot. And then add chicken, fry for 1 minute until chicken changes color.

Next, add 1 teaspoon black pepper powder and 1 tablespoon white pepper powder and mix very well into the chicken.

Add chopped veggies like cabbage, capsicum, carrot, onion, and Sauté for 1 minute until slightly tender but not too soft, just crunchy.

Add salt according to your taste, and I have added 1 teaspoon of salt to it. You can adjust.

Add 1 tablespoon of vinegar and mix well.

Add 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, mix well.

And cook on high flame, when the sauce turns thick. If the sauce is not thick, the rice will mushy.

Add the cooked rice.

Then stir to combine, with the prepared veggies. And cook for 1 minute.

Serve.
