This easy Custard Sharbat recipe makes refreshingly delicious and wonderfully healthy Custard milk in only a few minutes. Follow my simple instructions with step-by-step photos.

What is Custard Sharbat?

Sharbat is prepared with custard powder. Custard Sharbat is a fragrant drink made with milk, sugar, custard powder, and ice cube. This sharbat is very popular during Ramzan Season.

Making Custard Sharbat

Take out 6 tablespoons of milk from the pot into a small bowl.

Add 3 tablespoons custard powder to that milk and mix well. There should be no lumps. Set it aside.

Take 1 tablespoon of basil seeds in a bowl. You can check for some stones if any and remove them.

Soak the basil seeds in the water for about 30 mins.

After 30 minutes, basil seeds are thoroughly soaked. Using a fine strainer drain the extra water from the basil seeds. Cover and keep the soaked basil seeds aside.

Then lower the heat, add sugar, and mix until combined.

Keep the flame on low and then slowly add the custard mixture. Heat it over medium heat until the custard thickens.

Keep stirring continuously to avoid the formation of lumps.

Assemble

In a jug, take chill custard milk, add soaked basil, chopped pistachio, and almond, and mix well.

Further, add an ice cube and mix well. Serve the custard Sharbat in a glass and garnish with chopped pistachio.
