Ingredients

  • Spinach
  • Spring Onion
  • Potatoes
  • Soya Leaves
  • Coriander Leaves
  • Red chili
  • Garlic Cloves
  • Cumin powder
  • Coriander powder
  • Red chili flakes
  • Salt
  • Oil

How to make Aloo Palak Recipe

Step

Wash palak two or multiple times in water and afterward drain the water well indeed. Make sure the water runs clean.

In a pot, boil water.

When the water comes to a boil, add 1 bunch of chopped palak into the hot boiled water and cook for 10 minutes on medium flame until changes color.

Drain the hot water immediately.

Heat 1/2 cup oil in a pot.

Once the oil is hot. Add chopped 2 garlic cloves and 4 slits green chili, and sauté for a few minutes until aroma comes out to the garlic and green chili.

Then add spring onion and fry until the onion starts they get soft.

Next, add Cooked Palak and 1 tablespoon of coriander powder,1 teaspoon of cumin powder,1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1 tablespoon of red chili flakes, stir-fry for 1 minute until it starts moisture.

Add potato and 2 cups of water, and cover and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring once in between. Use a wooded spoon to break the palak.

When the water has completely dried up and the potatoes are very well cooked. Add chopped soya leaves and stir well in the medium flame to sauté, do not have any moisture. Taste and adjust spices.

Turn Off The Heat and spread chopped coriander leaves for garnish.
