How to make Kadhi Pakora

To a cooking pot, add 1/2 cup gram flour,1 cup yogurt,1 teaspoon turmeric powder,2 tablespoons of red chili powder,1teaspoon of cumin seeds,1 tablespoon of coriander powder,1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1-liter water and, whisk till smooth mixture without any lumps.
And then, add 4 garlic cloves chopped,4 green chili slit, coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoons, curry leaves as needed and mix well.
Keep stir and flame to medium bring mixture to a boil, stir well. Once the mixture starts to boil, Now reduce the heat to low, and slow cook for at least half-hour while stir occasionally.
While kadhi is cook away, begin preparing the onion pakora batter. Take 1 medium onion cut into sliced and chopped, coriander leaves and 4 green chili chopped (optional).
And then add 1 cup gram flour and following powder spices.
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tablespoon Coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 tablespoon Red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
Mix very well. Add 1/2 + 1/8 cup water slowly and mix well until a thick batter.
When the kadhi will thicken and color change. Meanwhile, let start to fry the pakora.
Pour oil to a pot on low flame, Once the oil is hot drop the pakora batter in the hot oil and fry them on a medium flame for 1 minutes.
When they turn golden and crispy, take them using a strainer and remove the pakora from the hot oil.
And transfer the cooked kadhi.
When the kadhi is ready.
Heat 1/2 cup oil, add 12 garlic cloves for a few minutes, Once they start to brown, add 1 teaspoon cumin seeds,5 whole red chili,1 teaspoon mustard seeds,1 teaspoon nigella seeds and some curry leaves fry a few minutes until golden.
Now transfer the tadka to the kadhi pakora.

Notes
