Tori ki Sabzi (Tori ki Sabzi Punjabi style) mean ridge gourd curry recipe is a healthy and comforting Ridge recipe Indian which is frequently prepared in northern Indian houses during the summer season.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Kg Ridge gourd (Tori)
  • Garlic clove
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tsp Red chili powder
  • 1 Tsp Red chili flakes
  • 1 Tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 Small Onion
  • Coriander leaves chopped
  • Green chili
  • 1/3 Cup Cooking oil

How To Make Tori ki Sabzi?

    Preparation

    • Wash and cut all the veggies- ridge gourd, onion, green chili,coriander leaves and keep them aside.
    • Heat,oil,add onion to the pan and fry it on a medium heat for a minutes.
    • Add chopped garlic to the pan and cook it on low flame for another 1 minutes.
    • When the onion becomes soft and translucent.
    • Add the chopped ridge gourd,into the pan and give a nice mix.
    • Cover the pan and cook it on low flame for another 5-6 minutes. Stir in between if required.
    • Add 1 teaspoon of red chili powder, 1 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of red chili flakes.
    • Cover with a lid and cook on medium heat until all the moisture has evaporated and is tender,Keep stirring at regular intervals and scraping the bottom of the wok.
    • Add chopped coriander leaves, green chili and mix them well.
