Shami kabab

Shami Kabab (Beef Shami kabab) are pan- fried meat (mutton, lamb or beef) patties popular in the pal subcontinent. These kebabs are made by cooked together meat with chana dal (bengal gram lentils), whole spices, ginger and garlic.

Ingredients
  

  • 1000 Gram Beef meat boneless
  • 1 Cup Chana Dal
  • 6 Cloves Garlic
  • 2 Inches Ginger piece
  • 1 Tbsp Red chili powder
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tsp Turmeric powder
  • 3 Whole red chili
  • 12 Black pepper corn
  • 2 Inches Cinnamon stick
  • 6 Cloves
  • 1 Black cardamom pods
  • 2 Green cardamom pods
  • 4 Green chili
  • Half Bunch Coriander leaves
  • Half Bunch Mint leaves

How To Make Shami Kabab?

  • Add all the whole spices ingredients into a cooking pot.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of red chili powder, 1 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of salt.
  • Add 1 cup soaked Chana dal.
  • Add 6 cup of water, bring to a boil, cover the pot,and turn the flame to low and then cook the meat and lentil become tender,and soft easily.
  • Once the meat and lentil are tender or soft,then add fresh herbs and green chili.

PREPARE Shami KaBAB MIXTURE

  • Let the Shami kabab mixture completed cool,them grind.
  • Roll out a ball of Shami kabab (Grease your hands with a little oil) and shape the kabab.

PAN FRY SHAMI KABAB

  • Heat oil in a nonstick frying pan. Place patties in pan and fry each side till it's a brown. Transfer to a plate lined with a paper towel to absorbexcess oil.
