- 4 Tsp Black Tea
- 2 Cups Filter water
- 3 Cardamom pods
- 3 Tsp Sugar
- 1/3 Cup Evaporated milk
How To Make Karak Chai?
In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil.Add the black tea to the boiling water and let it steep for a minute.
Once the water starts boiling.
Now add the sugar and tea into the pan and reduce the heat. Let this simmer for 1 minute.
Add the crushed cardamom and let the tea boil for 30 seconds.
Add evaporated milk and bring it to boil. Continue this for 5 minutes until the karak tea is a rich caramel color.Using a tea strainer, serve the tea in mugs immediately.
